The Forks Chamber currently has designated funding for two $1000 scholarships. Any current graduate of Forks High School, Forks Alternative School, or the Quileute Tribal High School may apply.

Gwenlyn Gaydeski is the founder of Upper Left Beauty &Wellness Bar which opened recently at 71 E. Division Street. Gwen said, “I have dreamed about opening up the beauty bar for years now with the intent to give a space for men and women to have a place to work while licensed and after they get licensed in the beauty and wellness industry.”

After a Covid break, Fabric of the Forest Quilt Show, presented by the Piecemakers Quilt Club, is back and will be held on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, April 21, 22, and 23, at the Forks High School Auxiliary Gym, 261 Spartan Avenue, Forks, WA. Hours are: Friday, Noon to 6 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday, Noon to 4 p.m. There is no admission fee but donations are appreciated.

The Forks Lions Club will hold its annual White Cane Days Auction on Saturday, May 6 at Blakeslee’s Bar and Grill, starting at 11 a.m. The Annual White Cane fundraising campaign supports the Lions Northwest Sight and Hearing Foundation and local community sight and hearing needs.
